Horses and Ponies

Norman is a nice chap. Whipped in and Field Mastered for the Staff College Draghounds for the last 2 seasons. Pretty much whipped in everyday for us this season, very happy in work.

I don't have time to ride him as much as I would like, his potential is being wasted. Best suited going somewhere to do a job. Is currently fit as we have just ended our season. Jumps hedges and timber. Will do a course of show jumps but this needs work as I haven't really done much of this. Has 3 good paces in the school and will work in a consistent frame. I don't school him often as I don't really enjoy it. Great in open spaces and fields, good with traffic

He is not a novice ride, he gains confidence from his rider and has scope. Can be strong. Fantastic with hounds, he absolutely loves being up front with them.

I hack him in a snaffle but needs bitting up for hunting.

Loads every time, good to clip, shoe etc. Surprisingly clean in a stable for a grey. Good to wash and plait. Lives in or out, happy to be in a field alone as long as he can see other horses. Will turn out with geldings or mares, not fussed. He is very affectionate on the ground.

He needs to go to an experienced home as he thrives on being busy and having a job. Has lived at Kennels, you can blow a horn on him etc.

Incredibly smart looking and I always get comments on how striking he looks.
