Connor
This is a very sad sale and no fault of his own- I have a 2 year old with a new house to complete in the next month and moving my business location. Unfortunately I don’t have the time with winter approaching to be doing horses too.
Connor is an absolute weapon and lives for his jumping- he’s hunted & teamchased with me for the last couple years. I have had so so so much fun on this horse.
The first day I got him home I wanted to see what he was made of before I went hunting so my dad took the arena gate off the hinges and he did it with ease in a trot.
He is the easiest horse to clip I have ever owned , even for the insides of his ears. Will load on a trailer or a lorry, good to shoe , wash & plait
Hacks out alone and lives on his own currently too
Team chasing I always rode in second but at times he had to take lead and he did this without hesitation.
Hunting he will ride anywhere … at front , mid or behind so you can have a bit of your hipflask and a chinwag.
Connor’s only downside is he doesn’t realise his own strength or I am just completely over horsed…. My 9 stone can’t stop him from pulling me on the ground for a nicer bit of grass. This isn’t done out of malice, he can just sometimes be a bit rude, he will never run off or do it in a nasty way. Usually for a tasty bit of cow parsley.
On his back you have no issues I hunt him in a dutch gag, one loop down from the snaffle and I find this is perfect for him
Connor needs a confident rider as he lives for his jumping and likes to take on hedges, gates , rails you name it there’s no stopping him.
Lastly- he is incredibly smart looking and a giant softy - he will be checking your pockets for the good stuff.
So please serious enquiries only
