He is fantastic to hack both alone and in company, if you need a horse to get you back after one to many Guinness’s he’s your man. Unfazed by any traffic, lawnmowers or killer leaves.
He’s a seasoned hunter and has proved himself thoroughly in this job. I think he would be most suited to returning to do this.
His schooling is very average - walk, trot and canter on an outline. Circles are slightly unbalanced but getting better. He has a lovely movement and there in no doubt with further schooling he would produce a nice test i just don’t believe this has ever been asked of him.
Similar story with his show jumping… Anything technical and the poor lad doesn’t have a clue, but wack up a decent oxer and he’ll certainly have a go for you! He’s bold as brass and will gallop to hedges the same size as him.
David (naughty name) however, has decided he likes to buck in viewings, he has never done it outside of one and never with us (trust me we’ve took it in turns trying to annoy him enough to do it). But he clearly just likes it here too much… If that makes your teeth chatter please do not enquire.
He’s a horse that needs a job, would be fantastic for hunt staff and he’s in the money.
