17.1hh 6 yrs full ID gelding. Superb ID breeding by Scrapman and out of a Class 1 mare.
I bought Billy last summer as a 5 yr old to be my lifelong horse , he was with his previous owner 4 yrs and was started slowly and correctly. I had to have back surgery in November and this has resulted in a huge knock to my confidence levels. Billy is straighforward but green and would benefit from someone who will give him confidence. In the right hands he will be a superb Hunter/Ridden Hunter/WH prospect. Sadly this is not me. I need a horse who will give me confidence.
He is a good example of a short coupled heavyweight ID. Has been out hunting x 6 times for short periods and loved it, took ditches etc in his stride. Won in hand as a 2 yr old at County Level & Reserve champion Ridden class as a 4 yr old. Done a couple of dressage tests with scores in the 60s. Introduced to SJ and XC schooling proving to be brave & willing. Done water & ditches with no issues. Very comfortable ride, the type you could hunt all day on.
He hacks alone & in company, can be a bit spooky but again gets confidence from rider.
Excellent to catch, shoe,clip etc. up to dates with Vacs, teeth, worming & physio. No vices. Will live in or out. Currently on a busy yard on a working farm. Snaffle mouth & not strong at all.
Priced to sell as needs mileage but he is a class horse with a big future.
